Kinvarra Estate 2014 Pinot Noir verdejo Morello cherriesKinvarra Estate was established at Plenty in the Upper Derwent Valley (about 40 minutes from Hobart) in 1827 by Englishman George Frederick Read. There is a very fine Georgian homestead on the site. In 1990 a 1 hectare 'Home Block', divided between Riesling and Pinot Noir, was planted by then owners David and Sue Bevan. The first vintage Kinvarra Pinot was 1994. A further 8. 7ha was planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 2009 for sparkling wine
