Description
More than half of this wine is cabernet franc and it shows in its penetrating minerality and serious tannic spine
I had two vintages of the old-vine cuvée to taste side by side
An airy and elegant nose offers up cool and smoky aromas of essence of pear and an assortment of citrus elements
The 2017 is no exception
the use of French oak has become more measured and the Barolos are now among the elite wines of the region in virtually every vintage
Nyetimber, Tillington Single Vineyard Brut Zero More than half of this76% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay grown in a single West Sussex vineyard. RS 9. 7 g l. Tasted blind. Quite deep gold. Putty nose, nicely integrated. Not too tart. Quite assertive. Some attractive evolution on this. Lots of nuance here. Not that long but a very good effort.
