You can recognize the Mourvedre-driven structure and tannic spine on the palate
Darker currants
powerful and deliver a lovely finishing intensity
The bottled 2018 Arbois Chardonnay Grand Courolet comes from a plot that used to belong to Robert Aviet
While this may not be a true Chambolle villages given the origins of the fruit
Chateau Meursault, Corton Rouge Vintage:2017 You can recognize the Mourvedre-driven(from Les Vergennes and Rognets). A pungent nose of wood and reduction dominate the underlying fruit today. Otherwise the round and velvet textured flavors possess both good volume and excellent richness, all wrapped in a mildly austere and reasonably well balanced finish that offers good if not exceptional complexity. There is a hint of warmth but its not intrusive and overall this is a relatively forward Corton that could be enjoyed relatively young
