Description

lingering elegantly on the finish

The "regular" 2018 Rausch Trockenbeerenauslese (AP 2) is slightly volatile and enormously concentrated

bright acidity that will remain food-friendly for more than two decades

Here the reticent nose is at once ripe yet cool with a lovely layered quality to the mix of violet

Plus this wine always ages well and the 2019 version should be no exception

Jean Noel Gagnard, Chassagne Montrachet Petits Clos other_regions lingering elegantly on the finishOnce again there is a vague mintiness to the otherwise cool and elegant aromas of mostly floral and citrus wisps. The finer but markedly less powerful medium weight flavors possess a succulent mid palate yet no lack of detail on the nicely dry and persistent but not really austere finale. This is really quite pretty and a wine that should reward up to a decade of cellaring.
