Description
Surprisingly there is a touch of menthol on the still youthfully fresh and bright nose of mostly red berry fruit
layered and vinous
The lilting and lacy medium weight flavors possess a refined mouth feel on the mineral-driven flavors that are almost delicate while terminating in a restrained and lingering finish
All of the Trapet 2016s are obviously extremely young wines but I cannot recommend buying it as it’s difficult to like at present and I cannot recommend aging it for fear that it will dry out
The 2013 needs time for the classic Monvigliero perfume to emerge fully
Potensac Vintage:2005 Surprisingly there is a touchThe 2010 Potensac has a high toned, airy bouquet with balsamic and Hoisin infusing the black fruit. The palate is well defined with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. There is something just a little Oriental about the style of this Potensac that delivers impressive body and grip on the finish. Very fine. Tasted from an ex chteau bottle at the BI Wines & Spirits 10 Year On tasting. Neal Martin
