with driving acidity

rich flavors and outstanding length

it seems a bit light but the focus and intensity are such that I believe this will prove to be much more impressive than present appearances suggest

Wonderful texture

Trapet Pere et Fils, Gevrey Chambertin Ostrea Vintage:2015 There are differences in texture(from very old vines situated in Clos du Village and En Combe). Ripe and fresh aromas combine notes of red and dark raspberry, violet, the sauvage and a hint of newly turned earth. There is excellent richness and mid palate density to the caressing yet powerful flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the firm, serious and youthfully austere finale. This is also a very fine villages that should age gracefully.
