Army Emergency Reserve Decoration EIIR Volunteer Awarded to Union service personnelThe Army Emergency Reserve Decoration EIIR. instituted on 17th November 1952 and awarded to officers of the Army Emergency Reserve of Officers and the Army Supplementary Reserve for 12 years service. Previous service in the ranks counted half and war service double. This decoration was abolished in 1967 when the T&AVR was formed.
