Description
The 2017 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is a singular
layered and enrobing
Although very concentrated it still has finesse
as this tastes much older than its true age
Intense butcher's shop aromas
Barroche, Chateauneuf Du Pape Fiancee other_regions_italy The 2017 Pinot Noir SanfordHarvest before the rains and hitting a whopping 16. 2% alcohol, the 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape Fiancee (an equal split of Grenache and Syrah) certainly has a modern flair, but is nevertheless a smoking effort that's loaded with notions of cassis, blackberry, truffle, olive tapenade and pepper. Big, voluptuous, concentrated and full bodied, it's still young and unevolved, and will have more than two decades of overall longevity.
