A deft application of wood frames slightly riper aromas of spicy black raspberry, cherry and lovely floral nuances and in particular, violet. The delicious and tautly muscular flavors possess very good verve while the firm, serious and youthfully austere finish makes clear that this is definitely built to age. This is excellent though a wine that will need at least a few years of patience.
