Natural wood center with yakisugui finish with coconut oil and beeswax

A42 Centro de madera de Roble Europeo RESTOCK 4 DE DICIEMBRE like life itselfHand turned European Oak wood center Natural wood bowl with yakisugui finish This is an ancient Japanese technique for preserving wood by charring it, burning it, brushing it, washing it and finally hydrating it with oil. Cracks may appear due to the fire, but they are stabilized so they will not get worse. Fully fired, this bowl looks spectacular. In addition, this process gives it a very particular texture, a pleasure for the sight and the touch.
