The wine is a complex, full bodied red wine with intense aromas of ripe fruits of wild berries, amarena cherries and figs, underlined by distinct notes of pepper, sweet spice and a hint of fresh tobacco. The palate is very smooth with lots of ripe, velvety tannins and a very pleasant, long finish. Ideal with game, red meat and mature cheeses.
