Description
Aesthesys plays beautiful and powerful post-rock with some ambient and progressive sounds
ranging from the angular deconstructivism of early experimental anarcho-punk (think Dog Faced Hermans and Poison Girls) to the tender repetition of far-flung folk music
It’s also really easy to tell that these guys love their noise and dissonance with noise on just about every track as well as with a noise only track “French Kissing Alexander Hamilton” that gets a heavily distorted beat going with glitches and swells thrown in to berate your ears
There could be no other logical or illogical conclusion to the 12" trilogy than this
A full LP of never before released MICHAEL HURLEY recordings from 1972-’73
MIRT - heading south LP Indie Rock Aesthesys plays beautiful and powerfulHeading South is the eighth Mirts' album. The record was created with great help of TER between 2011 and 2012. Like its predecessors it is to some extent a concept album. This time, derived from exotic vision of class B old adventure films and cheap comic stories. As usual this inspirations are barely visible and immersed in typical for Mirt hazy and dark mood. This are only some hints and whole album leaves a much wider scope for interpretation.
