2019, Picrochole Giftcarton brioche and toasted almonds —Picrochole 2019 from Claire & Florent Bejon is a pure Cabernet Franc from their small parcel in Saint Germain sur Vienne. The vintage has developed a little more depth than the younger 2020, but retains the house signature: a wine born from old vines, spontaneously fermented in whole bunches and aged in amphorae and demi muids. An intense and authentic expression of the Loire, made without filtration or additives. This is an allocated wine.
